LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I respectfully acknowledge that Inspire Personal Growth, which is based in Ashland, Oregon, is located within the ancestral homelands of the Shasta, Takelma, and Latgawa peoples who lived here since time immemorial. In the 1850s, the discovery of gold and settlement brought thousands of Euro-Americans to their lands, leading to warfare, epidemics, starvation, and villages being burned. In 1853 the first of several treaties were signed, confederating these Tribes and others together – who would then be referred to as the Rogue River Tribe. These treaties ceded most of their homelands to the United States, and in return, they were guaranteed a permanent homeland reserved for them. At the end of the Rogue River Wars in 1856, these Tribes and many other Tribes from western Oregon were removed to the Siletz Reservation and the Grand Ronde Reservation. Today, the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians are living descendants of the Takelma, Shasta, and Latgawa peoples of this area.
I encourage you to learn about and connect with the land you reside on. May we each take action to decolonize our minds and our societies, and respect the inherent sovereignty of Indigenous peoples.
INCLUSION, DIVERSITY, EQUITY, & ACCESSIBILITY
I am committed to contributing to the creation of a more just and equitable society and a healthy planet. At the root of what I do at IPG is honoring the inherent worth of every person and practicing love, compassion, and empathy. I believe that with love in our hearts, we are able to critically examine the aspects of self and society that cause harm and need to be upgraded.
I speak out against hate and discrimination to the best of my ability. When I fall short of these ideals, I seek counsel and strive to learn from my mistakes. Connection to nature, the celebration of our strengths and shared humanity, community involvement, and creative expression fuel the work that is required to create lasting change.

I am LGBTQIA2+ identified. I am anti-racist, feminist, body-positive, and sex-positive. I support and affirm BIPOC communities, people who live with disabilities, and people who are discriminated against on the basis of socioeconomic status, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, size, religious orientation, age, and relationship status.
